Daniel Bonsai Benches

This custom project was designed in collaboration with Rainer Spehl for a client passionate about bonsai, who envisioned something special for his garden to showcase his extensive collection.

The benches combine refined craftsmanship with quiet minimalism, drawing inspiration from Japanese design in their proportions and simplicity. Each bench is constructed in solid larch and features subtle variations in detail and dimension. There are two main bench designs, each developed with slight variations, resulting in a total of four different bench types. This allows for flexible arrangements and compositions tailored to both the bonsai and the surrounding space.
